In Flow it is possible to pay and receive payments via Yape:

Yape is a digital wallet that allows payments from mobile devices in a simple, fast and secure way in Peru. The number of people using Yape has grown rapidly, reaching more than 15 million users.

I'm a merchant and I want to activate Yape on my Flow account

  1. If you don't have a Flow account yet, you need to register on Flow and then follow the steps below.
  2. If you already have a Flow account and want to add Yape as a payment method, follow these steps:
    • Log in to your Flow account.
    • Go to the Payment methods menu.
    • Click the Edit details button.
    • Select the payment method(s) you want to activate and choose the rate.
    • Click the Save changes button.
    • You will then receive an email with a security code that you must enter in your portal.
    • Once you correctly enter the security code, the selected payment methods will be activated.

Online payment

This mode allows a given customer to pay online using:

  • Yape app.

Payment experience

To make an online payment via Yape, the customer must follow the steps described below. Once the payment is completed, Flow will immediately notify the merchant.

  1. Your customer selects the payment method — They choose the Pay with Yape option and click Pay now.
  2. Enter their Yape phone number — A form is displayed where your customer must enter their mobile number linked to Yape and the approval code.
    • The approval code is obtained directly from the app in the Yape Menu:
  3. Payment confirmation by Yape — Once the security details have been correctly entered, Yape will confirm the online payment.
  4. Payment confirmation by Flow — Immediately afterward, Flow will notify the completed payment:
    • A payment notification will be sent to the merchant.
    • A payment receipt will be sent to the customer.
    • If the merchant uses an integration API, their system will be notified online about the completed payment.
  5. Redirect to success page — Finally, the customer:
    • Will be directed to Flow's success page, where their payment information will be displayed.
    • If the merchant uses an integration API, this page will not be shown and they will be redirected to the merchant's own success page.
