Requirements and conditions

What requirements must my business meet to activate Recurring Yape in Flow?

  • Be registered in Flow as a merchant enabled to receive payments, with an active account.
  • Have a business bank account in the name of a company with a RUC registered with SUNAT.
  • The business activity registered with SUNAT must correspond to the products or services for which you issue recurring charges.
  • The billing details registered in Flow must match the RUC of the bank account.
  • The product or service must be published on a public website with prices, conditions, and terms clearly visible.
  • The product or service must not violate any applicable law or Flow's terms and conditions.

What are the commercial conditions for this payment method?

  • The cost of the service and commercial conditions are available in the current rates section.
  • Recurring Yape is only available for charges in Peruvian soles (PEN). Charges in dollars or other currencies are not supported.
  • Recurring Yape does not support chargebacks.

How to sign up

How do I activate Recurring Yape in my Flow account?

You must contact our operations team to activate Recurring Yape. You can do so by emailing operaciones@flow.cl, so we can evaluate the service and coordinate the signing of the corresponding contract.

Response time: The activation process may take up to 72 business hours from the moment you send the email to our operations team.

How it works

How can I manage recurring charges with Yape?

  1. Subscriptions: Subscribe customers to a plan with a fixed amount and frequency. The charge is processed automatically on the agreed date without any action required from the customer.
  2. Direct charge via API: Define the amount of each charge flexibly using Flow's REST API. Ideal for variable or on-demand billing.

Important: In both cases, if the customer has Yape linked, the charge is processed automatically. If not, Flow sends them a payment link by email so they can pay using other available methods.

How do I register my customers to charge them with Recurring Yape?

  1. Register the customer using Flow's REST API, or from the Flow private portal under Subscriptions > Customers.
  2. The customer links their Yape account through the registration flow.
  3. Once linked, you can make automatic charges with the amount and frequency you define.

Are there transaction limits?

Yes, for security reasons Flow applies transaction amount limits per customer. The default value is:

  • Maximum amount per transaction: S/ 2,000 PEN.
